How will a debt management plan help me?
A debt management plan is a proven way to get you out of debt. It allows you to make a single monthly payment that is distributed to your creditors. This eliminates the need to make individual payments to each of your creditors. Many of the creditors who participate in the plan will allow you to reduce your monthly payment and, after you establish a payment history, may reduce or eliminate interest and late charges, and harassing collection calls should stop. That way, more of your payment goes to reducing your debt, getting you out of debt faster. Beware of other companies who over-promise and then cannot deliver. As the largest provider in the industry, we have a proven track record and stand behind our word.

How do I qualify for Debt Management service?

It depends on the program. We find many people choose to enroll in our debt management plan to help them get out of debt. To get the most benefit out of this particular plan, most of our clients have:
1. At least $2,500 in unsecured debt
2. A minimum of two accounts
(Note that our debt management plan cannot accept secured debts like cars or mortgages.) If this plan does not sound right for you, call to speak with a Financial Fitness Coach at 1-888-888-CARE, who can help you find the right plan for you.

What information do I need to enroll?
To enroll in one of our debt relief plans, please have:
1. Details on your outstanding unsecured debts – gather your most recent monthly statements.
2. Details of your monthly expenses and income to help you build a budget.
3. Your bank account information if you wish to take advantage of our EasyPay system (recommended).

How do I continue enrollment?
Your application is automatically saved each time you submit changes. As long as you have set up a username and password, you should be able to continue your enrollment. To continue enrollment:
1. Click on the "CONTINUE SAVED ENROLLMENT" link on the home page.
2. Enter your user name and password.
3. You will be shown a summary of the information you have entered thus far.
4. Click the CONTINUE button to pick up where you left off.

Manage Your Account

How long does it take for the creditors to accept the proposal?

How do I add a creditor?
How do I update my personal information?

How long does it take for the creditors to accept the proposal?
Your creditors will receive proposals within seven to ten days of your plan enrollment. It will often take four to seven weeks for them to process the proposal. Most creditors require three consecutive payments through the debt management plan before they will offer benefits. Often your creditors may notify us only when the proposal is declined. In this event, we will research the cause and work with you and your creditor to make the necessary changes to have the proposal accepted. Please check your creditor’s statements to see if they have started applying benefits.

What are my current balances?
Unfortunately, most creditors will not notify us of the current balances on your accounts. Please check your most recent creditor statements for your most up-to-date balances. Please contact us by e-mail or phone to remove creditors as they are paid in full.

How do I pay off an account?
There are three ways that a creditor can be paid in full or have extra payments made through the program:

1. You can increase your monthly debit online.
2. You can send in a cashiers check or money order.
3. You can send the payment via Western Union Quick Collect.

After you have confirmation that your payment has been received, visit the Help Center to contact us by e-mail to remove the creditor and to reallocate their normal payment to another participating creditor. When identifying your creditors, please give the name of the creditor and the last four digits of the account number.

How do I add a creditor?

  • New Applicants:
You can add a creditor at any time. If you are in the process of submitting your application online and forget to add a creditor, it can be added later. To add a creditor after you have completed your application (Steps 1 through 4) but have not activated your account yet via e-signature or fax, access your account through the CONTINUE SAVED ENROLLMENT link. When your account is displayed, select the tab for Step 2 then click ADD ANOTHER CREDITOR.
  • Existing Clients:
If you are currently enrolled in the debt management plan, you can add new unsecured debt to the plan by accessing your account through the MEMBER LOG-IN link. Select Add Creditor on the left-hand menu. To add additional unsecured debt on the plan, you will need the following:
    1. Primary account holder
    2. Creditor name
    3. Creditor payment address
    4. Creditor city
    5. Creditor state
    6. Creditor zip code
    7. Creditor phone number
    8. Account number
    9. Account balance
    10. Monthly payment amount

Please use the information on your most recent statement to ensure you receive the maximum benefits provided through the program.

Remember: most creditors require that you make three consecutive payments through the planbefore they will extend benefits.

How do I update my personal information?

  1. New Applicants:
During enrollment, you can make corrections to your personal information. After you complete enrollment, you can make corrections to your personal profile by clicking the EDIT button for that section on the Enrollment Summary page.
  2. Existing Clients:
If you are currently enrolled in a debt management plan, you can update your personal information by accessing your account through the MEMBER LOG-IN link. Select Profile in the left menu. You will be able to update the following information:

    2. City
    3. State
    4. Zip Code
    5. Years at Current Address
    6. Marital Status
